Director of Operations
Hayley joined Atkins Bland as Director of Operations in January 2019. Her main responsibility is to ensure the company is running as well as it possibly can, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of our clients and regulator. She will also be on hand to provide technical support where needed, as she holds the Level 6 Diploma in Financial Advice and has attained Chartered status.
Hayley started out in the Financial Services industry in 2007 and has worked her way ‘through the ranks’, from receptionist to Paraplanner and onto more senior managerial roles.
Catherine joined Atkins Bland in 2018 to provide specialist assistance to Kevin and Rob in a range of areas requiring a high level of technical knowledge in financial planning.
In her own words
“I’ve worked in the Financial Services industry since 2006, originally as a qualified Mortgage Adviser before moving into the pensions and investments side of the business. In my last post I self-funded and passed my CertPFA qualification in paraplanning during 2017, studying in my own time and around my existing work and family commitments.
My role is to support Kevin and Robert in a variety of ways, including carrying out research and analysis , writing draft advice letters and reports and liaising with product providers regarding technical issues to help achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Since joining I have also been involved with the introduction of new cash flow modelling software for the adviser to use.
I liaise closely with the Portfolio Review Team and product providers to help ensure everything runs smoothly and as efficiently as possible and I am looking forward to undertaking further study towards my Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
Outside of work I’m a busy mother to two children and a Governor for their school. I’m a Southampton FC season ticket holder and enjoy attending matches with my son”.
Personal Assistant to Kevin
Nicole joined in 2015 and looks after Kevin and his clients with a cheerful “can do” attitude and all the attributes needed for such a demanding job.
I joined Atkins Bland in 2015, having worked in the Financial Services industry since leaving school at sixteen, which is more years than I care to remember!
My role involves providing administrative support to Kevin in terms of business compliance, and also to the other teams, helping make sure the business is up to speed with the ever changing regulatory environment and that it is implemented effectively in our company policies, procedures and general practice.
Personal Assistant to Robert Carter
Hannah works part time assisting in a variety of ways, helping to ensure our records are up to date and all is running smoothly in the archives of the firm, as well as assisting as and when needed with typing, client and product provider communications.
Kelly joined Atkins Bland mid 2018 as a receptionist and quickly progressed to the role of Personal Assistant to Rob.
In her own words:
“My job is all about helping clients and supporting Rob in meeting their needs by ensuring any instructions are actioned and completed efficiently.
Most of my spare time is spent with my son, exercising at the gym and keeping up with family and friends”.
Teresa joined Atkins Bland in February 2017, as a part-time receptionist, shortly after relocating to the area from North Dorset.
In her own words:
“I enjoy my role as Receptionist and welcoming clients over the phone and face to face. A significant part of my job involves supporting my colleagues with administrative and general day to day tasks”.
I joined Atkins Bland on a part time basis in 2019 having worked for HMRC for over 15 Years. My role includes manning the reception and supporting the teams with general administration tasks.
